I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, #107637. I began working in a counseling capacity over 10 years ago as a drug and alcohol counselor at The Camp Recovery Center. It was through this work that I realized I wanted to become a therapist, and I went back to school to gain my masters. I graduated from John F. Kennedy University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology, Holistic Studies. My thesis was about Animal Assisted Therapy, and I trained at Uplift Family Services working with high-risk youth ages 6-17. Prior to that, I graduated from UCSC majoring in Feminist Studies.
In my free time I like being outside, hiking, biking, and generally enjoying the beauty that Santa Cruz has to offer. I also love to travel, eat good food, read, be with animals, practice yoga and meditation, and spend time with family and friends.
